Saskia is a Certified Saddle Ergonomist in the Saddlefit4Life® network and a Certified Schleese Partner. Her life's mission is to help as many ridden horses as she can reach, so that no horse and rider pair need to suffer from ill fitting saddles.
As a former riding instructor and automotive engineer, she has now found the solution to the obvious physical and biomechanical struggles female riders experience in most saddles.
She resigned from her corporate job as a Project Manager to become a Saddle Ergonomist, after her young horse had had 5 different saddles in the first 2,5 years of training. This financially draining situation was absolutely unacceptable to her, and as she looked for answers she found Schleese.

As soon as the saddle provides full freedom of movement and supports the rider correctly, the following is experienced by my customers:
- It is so easy to sit correctly, the instructions during lessons can focus more on building skill than correcting false posture and wrong aids.
- It is so easy to allow the movement of the horse's back through your own, that the horse naturally starts to carry the rider better and accepts a steady contact to the rider's hands.
- As you can allow, more than push, hold and counter balance, your horse will actually join this relaxed happy flow and move with more ease and less tension too. Even spooking under saddle might become a thing of the past, thanks to relaxation of the nervous system once painful reflex points are no longer triggered.
